Gbajabiamila calls for seamless rollout of National Single Window Project ahead of launch
Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, has tasked government agencies to ensure a structured rollout and seamless implementation of the National Single Window Project.
Gbajabiamila made the call at a stakeholders’ meeting at the State House, Abuja, ahead of the project’s inauguration scheduled for March 27.
He described the initiative as a major fiscal reform of the Tinubu administration, noting that it would be highly transformational in nature.
According to him, the project will create a single national platform to streamline trade processes and eliminate bottlenecks associated with multiple systems.
Earlier, the Project Coordinator, Tola Fakolade, urged agencies to intensify support, explaining that the first phase would allow importers to submit documents once for access by all relevant agencies, supported by a centralized risk management system.
Also, the Minister of Trade, Industry and Investments, Jumoke Oduwole, alongside Zach Adedeji and Bashir Wale Adeniyi, emphasized the need for strong inter-agency collaboration for the successful implementation of the project.
