CG NFSS Commends Tinubu, Ribadu For Their Efforts In Combating Insecurity As He Pledges Support To NSCDC

The Commander General of Nigeria Forest Security Service, NFSS, Dr Joshua Osatimehin has commended President Bola Tinubu and the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu for their unrelented efforts in the fight against insecurity in the country.

Dr. Joshua Osatimehin gave the commendation when he led his Management Team on a congratulatory visit to the Commander General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Prof.

He said President Bola Tinubu and Mallam Nuhu Ribadu have no doubt done marvelously well in combating banditry, kidnapping, terrorism and all forms off crimes and criminality nationwide.

The Commander General identified increased budgetary allocation and purchase of modern fighting equipment to the Military and other security Agencies as some of the action by Mr President through his NSA’s professional advice as worthy of commendation.

Dr. Joshua Osatimehin therefore called for the support of Nigerians and other stakeholders to enable Nigeria overcome its security challenges.

According to him, NFSS will continue to contribute its quota towards the actualization of the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu for you citizens on the area of security.

He congratulated Prof. Abubakar Audi on his reappointment for another term of five years as the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.

According to him, the reappointment of Prof. Abubakar Audi is a proof of his sterling performance, dedication and remarkable achievements recorded under his stewardship during his first tenure.

The Commander General of NFSS therefore requested for more mutual support and collaboration with NSCDC towards strengthening intelligence operations within the forested areas for national security sustainability.

Responding, the Commandant General of NSCDC, Prof Abubakar Audi thanked the Commander General of NFSS, Dr Joshua Osatimehin and his management team for the congratulatory visit.

Prof Abubakar Audi also promised to continue to support and partner NFSS most especially in the area of training and retraining of its officers and men in protecting national assets and infrastructure spread across the nation’s forests.
