CG NFSS Congratulates Abubakar Audi On His Reappointment As CG NSCDC, Promises Continuous Collaboration

The Commander General of the Nigeria Forest Security Service, NFSS, Dr Joshua Osatimehin has congratulated Prof. Abubakar Audi on his reappointment for another term of five years as the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.

Speaking during a congratulatory visit with his Management Team to the Commandant General of NSCDC, Dr.

Joshua Osatimehin described the reappointment of Prof. Abubakar Audi as a proof of his sterling performance, dedication and remarkable achievements recorded under his stewardship during his first tenure.

The Commander General of NFSS therefore requested for more mutual support and collaboration with NSCDC towards strengthening intelligence operations within the forested areas for national security sustainability.

While appreciating President Bola Tinubu and the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu for their efforts in securing Nigeria, Dr. Joshua Osatimehin reiterated the determination of NFSS towards contributing to the actualization of the renewed hope agenda of the President in the area of protecting the lives and property of Nigerians most especially in the nation’s forested region.

Responding, the Commandant General of NSCDC, Prof Abubakar Audi thanked the Commander General of NFSS, Dr Joshua Osatimehin and his management team for the congratulatory visit.

Prof Abubakar Audi also promised to continue to support and partner NFSS most especially in the area of training and retraining of its officers and men in protecting national assets and infrastructure spread across the nation’s forests.
