The President of the FCT Baptist Conference, Rev. Dr. Dogara Raphael Gwana, has said that the forthcoming 113th Annual Session of the Nigerian Baptist Convention (NBC), scheduled to begin this weekend at the Baptist International Convention Centre (BICC), Kubwa, Abuja, will significantly boost economic activities in the Federal Capital Territory.

Rev. Dr. Gwana made this known while speaking on a television programme in Abuja.
He revealed that about thirty thousand Messengers from across Nigeria and other parts of the world are expected to attend the convention.
According to him, the General Secretary of the Baptist World Alliance will be arriving from the United States of America, alongside other Messengers from the United Kingdom and African countries such as Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana, among others.
He noted that an event of such magnitude would naturally stimulate economic activities, as visitors would require hotel accommodation, transportation services, and food. He added that vendors and business owners in Kubwa and across the FCT would also take advantage of the gathering to showcase and sell their goods, thereby contributing to economic growth and development in the territory.
The FCT Baptist Conference President further stated that adequate preparations have already been made to ensure the success of the convention.
He explained that the six-day event will feature worship sessions, biblical teachings, thanksgiving, and prayers for Nigeria and its leaders.
While wishing all Messengers a safe journey to the convention, Rev. Dr. Dogara Gwana expressed optimism that the gathering would enhance the spiritual growth of participants and bring divine blessings to their lives and endeavours.
