The Enitonna High School Alumni Association has revealed plans to launch a Strategic Development Masterplan for Enitonna High School on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

The unveiling will take place during a Presidential Luncheon at the school chapel in Borokiri and is designed to reposition the institution for sustained growth and development.

Speaking on the initiative, the National President of the association, Sir Godfrey Ohuabunwa, noted that the masterplan demonstrates the commitment of alumni and key stakeholders to preserving the school’s legacy while preparing it to meet future demands.
He explained that the blueprint prioritises infrastructure renewal, academic advancement, digital transformation, student welfare, stronger alumni engagement, and long-term institutional sustainability.
Ohuabunwa described the initiative as a significant milestone in reinforcing the standing of one of the oldest and most reputable secondary schools in the former Rivers and Bayelsa States.
Established in 1932, Enitonna High School has produced distinguished individuals who have excelled in public service, business, academia, media, and other sectors.
The association added that the event will also serve as an opportunity to celebrate the school’s legacy and honour prominent alumni, including Austin Adiele Opara and Mao Ohuabunwa.
The luncheon is expected to draw alumni, traditional rulers, community leaders, education stakeholders, as well as guests from across Nigeria and beyond.
The event is scheduled to commence at 1:00 p.m. at the Enitonna High School Chapel, Borokiri, Port Harcourt.
