Senator Isah Jibrin (Echocho’s) Scorecard: A Comprehensive Breakdown of Projects, Empowerment, and Legislative Impact Across Kogi East Since 2019

Distinguished Senator Isah Jibrin (Echocho) has executed numerous projects and empowerment programmes across the nine Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Kogi East, covering infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, and human capital development.

ANKPA LGA

Key interventions include installation of multiple 500KVA transformers in Olufofo, Ejegbo, Ofugo, and Inye, alongside several motorized boreholes across communities such as Emere, Emekutu, Mission Street, Erane, Egbeneba, Angwa, and Ojoku.


Agricultural support featured provision of tractors and farming equipment, as well as training programmes in cassava processing and mechanized agriculture.
Education and health received boosts through classroom construction at Enabo and Ojoku, distribution of 10,000 exercise books, supply of drugs and medical equipment to General Hospital Ankpa, and a solar-powered borehole at the College of Education.
Additional efforts include installation of solar street lights, establishment of a cassava processing plant, empowerment programmes for youths and women (including ₦100,000 grants), and ongoing construction of a 20-bed clinic at Enjema.

IBAJI LGA

Projects include establishment of an ultra-modern rice mill in Ejule Ojebe, provision of tractors, and agricultural training programmes.
Healthcare interventions covered supply of drugs and equipment to primary health centres in Onyedega, Aycke, and Ayah, alongside a medical outreach.
Empowerment initiatives distributed motorcycles, tricycles, sewing machines, generators, grinding machines, and phone repair kits. Educational materials and 10,000 exercise books were also provided, alongside relief materials for flood victims and lifejackets for riverine communities.

DEKINA LGA

Major projects include reactivation of Acharu Palm Oil Mill, construction of a skill acquisition centre in Anyigba, feeder roads, and numerous boreholes across communities.
Healthcare improvements feature establishment and renovation of health centres, supply of drugs, and payment of hospital bills.
Education interventions include classroom construction in several schools and distribution of exercise books.
Other projects include markets, town halls, police stations, NDLEA zonal office, solar street lighting, and empowerment programmes (motorcycles, tricycles, grinding machines, baking kits).
Legislative advocacy addressed power projects and school completion, while several projects remain ongoing.

OFU LGA

Interventions include agricultural support through tractors, training programmes, and establishment of a cashew processing plant.
Healthcare support involved provision of drugs and equipment to facilities in Ugwolawo and Itobe.
Education projects include classroom construction and distribution of materials.
Relief materials were provided to flood and windstorm victims, alongside ongoing road and clinic construction projects.

OMALA LGA

Projects include provision of tractors, boreholes in Olla, Ogodu, and Abejukolo, and establishment of a rice mill.
Other interventions include healthcare support, solar street lighting, electrification of Igodo community, educational materials distribution, and agricultural empowerment programmes.

BASSA LGA

Efforts include provision of boreholes, solar street lights, healthcare support, and empowerment programmes for youths and women.
Additional interventions include distribution of exercise books, relief materials for flood victims, cash empowerment, and reconstruction of facilities such as VIP guest house and classroom blocks.

OLAMABORO LGA

Projects include construction of a 20-bed primary health care centre, boreholes in Imane and Okpo, provision of drugs, educational materials, and solar lighting.
Agricultural training and classroom construction are also ongoing.

IDAH LGA

Interventions include provision of tractors, solar-powered boreholes, healthcare support, and empowerment programmes.
Relief materials for flood victims and educational support were also delivered.

IGALAMELA/ODOLU LGA

Projects include provision of tractors, boreholes, healthcare support, agricultural and skill acquisition training, and relief materials.
Educational materials were also distributed to schools.
MEGA EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME (JANUARY 2026)
Across the nine LGAs, large-scale distribution included buses, speed boats, tricycles, motorcycles, grinding machines, sewing machines, gas cylinders, and laptops.
Cash empowerment of ₦100,000 was given to widows and youths, while 20 graduates received ₦1 million each under an entrepreneurship scheme.
EMPLOYMENT FACILITATION
Senator Echocho facilitated employment of constituents into numerous federal agencies and institutions, including FIRS, SEC, NSCDC, FRSC, Federal Fire Service, NDLEA, Nigerian Police, Nigerian Army, NIMASA, NEMA, NCC, FAAN, universities, and several others.
