The Director General of the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Otunba Oluwemimo Osanipin, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his third year in office.

In a congratulatory message marking the Third Anniversary of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, Otunba Oluwemimo Osanipin described the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda as a positive game changer for Nigeria’s economic and infrastructural development.

The NADDC Director General also congratulated President Tinubu on his emergence as the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 presidential election.
Otunba Osanipin stated that the over ten million votes secured by President Bola Tinubu during the APC primary election conducted across the 36 states of the federation and the FCT reflected widespread support for the President’s performance over the past three years.
According to him, the support and enabling environment provided by President Tinubu for local assemblers and other stakeholders through the programmes and activities of NADDC have boosted job creation, youth empowerment, and the overall development of Nigeria’s automotive sector.
He described the introduction of the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) initiative under President Tinubu’s administration as a welcome development in the nation’s automotive industry, noting that it would reduce dependence on Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and lower transportation costs across the country.
While also commending the First Nigeria Policy initiative of President Tinubu, the NADDC Director General said the policy was already producing positive results in the automotive industry by encouraging local assemblers to increase production.
Otunba Osanipin disclosed that NADDC had signed a strategic document with the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) to strengthen collaboration towards the effective implementation of the First Nigeria Policy and ensure the realization of its objectives within Nigeria’s automotive industry.
He explained that the policy would enhance patronage of Made-in-Nigeria vehicles, create more jobs, promote local production, and strengthen economic growth and development within the sector.
Otunba Oluwemimo Osanipin therefore called on all stakeholders to support the patronage of Made-in-Nigeria vehicles and the implementation of the First Nigeria Policy in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu, especially in the nation’s automotive industry.
