Tinubu orders coordinated security operation to rescue victims of the Niger State mass abduction.

President Bola Tinubu has directed the Armed Forces, the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Services and other security agencies to immediately commence a coordinated operation to rescue victims of the recent mass abduction in Niger State.


The President condemned the abduction and killing of innocent citizens, describing the incident as barbaric and unacceptable.

He said those responsible for the attack are enemies of peace and humanity, stressing that they would not escape justice.
President Tinubu also commiserated with the families of those killed in the attack and prayed for the repose of their souls.
He assured Nigerians that the Federal Government would deploy all necessary resources to secure the release of the abducted victims.
The President further directed the Service Chiefs to provide him with regular updates on the rescue operation until all those abducted are accounted for.
