Akaagerger’s death shocking…David Mark

Former President of the Senate Senator David Mark has described the death of former military governor of Katsina state Senator Joseph Akaagerger as shocking and devastating.

Senator Mark of Benue South was in the 6th Senate with Senator Akaagerger who represented Benue North East .

Senator Mark lamented : “He was full of life and usually lively the last time I saw him. There was no inkling of any ailment that would warrant his death so soon.
“This is really sad. He was a fine soldier and intellectual of the highest order.
” I recall his robust contributions to motions and debates . He was a patriot who took the nation as his constituency.

“In Akaagerger, we have lost a patriotic soldier and a great nationalist with a fertile mind for unity , peace and progress of the nation”.

Akaagerger died in Abuja on Monday . He was a distinguished lawyer and the last military administrator of Katsina state.

Senator Mark prayed that God in His infinite by mercy grant him eternal rest.
