Pastor Babagbemi Joseph Adejola, founder of GB IRORUN FOUNDATION, on Sunday paid a courtesy visit to the former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief Samuel Olanrewaju Akande, at his country home in Mopa, Mopamuro Local Government Area.

The visit, which was described as a gesture of respect and solidarity, afforded both leaders the opportunity to engage in fruitful discussions on issues of governance, development, and the progress of Yagba land.

Speaking during the visit, Pastor Babagbemi described Chief Akande as a pathfinder and a political icon whose contributions to the growth and stability of Kogi State remain unparalleled.

“Chief Akande is not just a statesman, but a pathfinder whose legacy of selfless service and leadership continues to inspire us, especially the younger generation,” Babagbemi said.

He further noted that the former Deputy Governor’s commitment to good governance, unity, and grassroots development laid a solid foundation for the political progress in Yagba Federal Constituency and beyond.

In his remarks, Chief Akande commended Pastor Babagbemi for his humility, vision, and dedication to the service of humanity. He urged him to remain steadfast in his pursuit of justice, equity, and inclusive development.
