An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and House of Representatives aspirant for Yagba Federal Constituency, Pastor Babagbemi Joseph Adejola, has felicitated with Christians across the country on the occasion of Christmas, urging them to uphold the virtues of love, peace and selfless service.

In a statement issued on Wednesday in Orokere-Amuro, Mopamuro Local Government Area of Kogi State, Babagbemi described Christmas as a season that reminds humanity of sacrifice, compassion and unity as demonstrated by the birth of Jesus Christ.

He encouraged Christians to use the festive period to strengthen bonds of fellowship, show kindness to the less privileged and pray for the peace and progress of Nigeria.

According to him, the message of Christmas transcends religious boundaries and inspires hope for a better society anchored on mutual respect and collective responsibility.

Babagbemi also appealed to Nigerians, particularly the people of Yagba, to remain steadfast in faith and optimistic about the future, noting that challenges currently facing the constituency, especially on security, could be addressed through unity, prayer and responsible leadership.

Reaffirming his commitment to humanitarian service, the APC stalwart highlighted the efforts of the GB IRORUN Foundation, which he said remains focused on supporting vulnerable groups and promoting community development initiatives.
