Defence Minister, Gen. Christopher Musa, Honoured with Living Hero of Security World Award

The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa, OFR, has been honoured with the Living Hero of Security World Award.
The award was presented to him in Abuja by a Non-Governmental Organisation, Life Value Awareness and Leadership Secure Initiative (LIVALSI).


Presenting the award to the minister in his office in Abuja, the Team President of the organisation, Ambassador Oladipo Musibau, described the appointment of General Christopher Musa by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a welcome development in addressing the security challenges facing the country.
According to him, the appointment reaffirmed the belief that divine guidance remains upon Nigeria’s destiny, while commending President Tinubu for what he described as statesmanship and decisive leadership at a critical period in the nation’s history.
Ambassador Musibau noted that leadership in national security requires vision, courage and an unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and the nation’s sovereignty.
He said that as Chief of Defence Staff and now as Minister of Defence, General Musa has demonstrated these qualities with distinction, empowering the Armed Forces with renewed confidence, clarity and professionalism, while restoring public faith and inspiring hope for national renewal.
He added that the management of LIVALSI found it fitting to recognise the minister’s outstanding contributions to national security by conferring on him the “Living Hero of Security World, Distinguished Noble and Best-Ever Chief of Defence Staff Award, 2025/2026.”
Receiving the award, the Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa, expressed appreciation to the organisation for the honour.
He reaffirmed his commitment to the protection of lives and property of Nigerians, noting that his efforts remain focused on supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, particularly in the area of national security.
