Democracy’s Dividend: APC Abia Applauds President Tinubu’s Appointments

The Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lauded President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for appointing and inaugurating the State Party Chairman, Dr.

Kingsley Ononogbu, as Chairman of the National Park Service.

The party also expressed deep appreciation to the President for naming former Abia State Commissioner for Finance, Mr.

Obinna Oriaku, and Mr. Peter Eze—Special Assistant to the former Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, with whom he has worked for over a decade—as Commissioners in the Federal Character Commission.

According to the APC Abia, these appointments reflect President Tinubu’s steadfast commitment to the welfare of the people of Abia State and are based on merit, competence, and dedication to national service.

The party further extended heartfelt gratitude to Senator Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, and Minister of State for Employment Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejiocha—describing them as “insightful leaders” widely recognized for their significant contributions to the growth and development of Bende, Abia North, and the entire state.

Reaffirming its unity and determination, APC Abia declared readiness to deliver on President Tinubu’s mandate and take over governance in Abia State by 2027—ushering in an era of greater prosperity and progress for both the state and Nigeria.
