The Federal Government has extended the application deadline for the Federal Civil Service recruitment to March 17, 2025, sequel to widespread complaints about challenges accessing the online portal.
The job vacancies were announced on January 27, 2025, the recruitment drive aimed to fill over 70 positions across various ministries, departments, and agencies.
However, technical hitches faced by many applicants led to calls for an extension.
In response, the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) confirmed the extension in a notice published in national newspapers on Monday.
FCSC spokesperson Hassan Taiwo assured that while some applicants successfully registered, the extension would allow more eligible candidates to participate in the exercise.
