Easter: Prince Emeka Egwuekwe Calls for Peace, Unity and Godly Living in Nigeria

An industrialist of note, Dr. Prince Emeka Egwuekwe, Managing Director and CEO of Prince Interior Furnishing and Furniture Company Limited, and President General of Ezumezu Umunri Worldwide, has used the occasion of Easter to preach peace, unity, love, forgiveness, and the fear of God to Nigerians.
In his Easter message, Egwuekwe prayed for a successful celebration free from insecurity and called for interfaith harmony, especially with the coincidence of the 2026 Christian and Muslim fasting periods.Egwuekwe stressed the importance of commemorating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and urged Nigerians to strictly follow His teachings and way of life. He highlighted Christ’s example of forgiveness, love, and peace, encouraging citizens to emulate these virtues.
The industrialist also prayed for both leaders and citizens, asking for God’s intervention and guidance in their daily activities. While commending security agencies for their efforts in tackling insecurity, he urged them to intensify their work, noting that persistent insecurity reflects deeper national challenges.
He appealed to the government to support the private sector to enable continued job creation, emphasizing that tackling unemployment would significantly boost the nation’s economy. Egwuekwe also called on citizens to support the government, while urging leaders to remain mindful of the people’s struggles.
The President General of Ezumezu Umunri Worldwide further advised politicians to approach the 2026 Easter season with a commitment to politics without bitterness and with the fear of God, noting that such an approach would benefit the nation. He reiterated that love, unity, and peace are essential for Nigeria’s development.
