Eid-ul-Adha: FG Declares June 6, 9 Public Holidays

The Federal Government has declared Friday, June 6, and Monday, June 9, 2025, as public holidays to mark Eid-ul-Adha.

Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Minister of Interior in a statement by Permanent Secretary, Magdalene Ajani, extended greetings to Muslims in Nigeria and in diaspora.

He urged the faithful to reflect on the values of sacrifice and faith shown by Prophet Ibrahim and to pray for peace and prosperity in Nigeria.

He also called on all citizens to support President Bola Tinubu’s efforts to rebuild the nation.
