The Ipoti community in Ekiti State has announced that it has concluded arrangements to honour its distinguished sons and daughters who have made remarkable contributions to the growth and development of the town with chieftaincy titles during this year’s festival celebration.
In a statement issued on Friday in Abuja, the Chairman of the Ipoti Community Association, Hon. Garba Sola Arogundande, said the chieftaincy awards are in recognition of the sacrifices and services rendered by the recipients toward the transformation and progress of the community, as well as to motivate them for continued service.
Among those to be honoured are Seun Abosede Osamaye, Margaret Fagboyo, Tunrayo Akintomide, Ojo Glova Oluwasegun, and Jennifer Nwokolo Intimidated.
According to Arogundande, the award ceremony will take place during the Ipoti Day Celebration on November 8, and the titles will be conferred by Oba Kolade Oladipupo James, the Olupoti of Ipoti Kingdom.
“This year’s celebrations are particularly special as we honour individuals who have made significant impacts on our community. We invite all residents and friends of Ipoti to join us as we celebrate the achievements of our honourees and promote unity and pride among our people,” Arogundande stated.
Activities lined up for the festival include cultural displays, community engagement sessions, food exhibitions, and other exciting events.
