Father of Newborn Triplets in Lokoja Seeks Assistance from Government and Kind-hearted Nigerians

Philanthropists and well-meaning individuals within Nigeria and in the diaspora have been called upon to assist Mallam Suleiman Idris, whose wife recently gave birth to a set of triplets at MOM’s Orphanage, Crusher Community, Lokoja, Kogi State.
The appeal was contained in a statement made available to journalists in Lokoja by Idris, a phone repairer based in the Serikinuma area of Lokoja Local Government Area and a native of Okehi LGA in Kogi Central. He described the arrival of the babies as a divine blessing from Almighty Allah and a “bumper harvest of joy,” but lamented the prevailing economic hardship affecting ordinary citizens.
Idris passionately appealed to philanthropists, religious bodies, and families praying for the fruit of the womb to remember his family in their prayers and extend support. While noting that both the mother and the newborns are in good health, he expressed deep concern over his limited financial capacity to adequately cater for them. He also urged the state and local governments to show interest in the situation.
It was further gathered that this is not the first time MOM’s Orphanage has recorded the birth of triplets. Efforts to reach the Managing Director of the orphanage were unsuccessful as of the time this report was filed.
