Another former Nigerian international and member of the Green Eagles squad, Lawrence Orairo, has passed away.
His death occurred less than 48 hours after the passing of another former international, Henry Nwosu, which was announced on Saturday.
Like Nwosu, Orairo also played for New Nigerian Bank (NNB) Football Club of Benin City in Edo State.

NNB FC was previously known as Ethiope FC and was then based in Sapele, Delta State.
Other notable players associated with the NNB FC side during that period included Bright Omokaro and Stephen Keshi.
Orairo was reportedly playing on a field in the Kirikiri area of Lagos State on Sunday morning when he suddenly slumped.
According to former international Taiwo Oloyede, who shared the news on a WhatsApp platform, he died shortly afterward.
