Dr. Doyin Okupe, a renowned physician, politician, and former presidential aide, has passed away at the age of 72.

Family sources confirmed that Okupe, who had been battling health complications, succumbed to cancer after a prolonged struggle. Reports indicate that his condition had worsened in recent weeks, raising concerns among his loved ones and political associates.

Okupe was first diagnosed with prostate cancer 16 years ago and later developed sarcoma in his right shoulder. In October 2023, he was hospitalized with prostate cancer and flown to Israel for treatment. However, his condition did not improve as hoped.
