George Weds Mofoluwaso As Rev. Deji Oyelami Admonishes Couple To Build Godly Home

The Minister in charge of First Baptist Church, Gwagwalada Abuja, Reverend Deji Oyelami has admonished christian couples to always make God the foundation of their marriage towards fulfilling the purpose of their union.

Reverend Deji Oyelami gave the admonition in his sermon during the Holy Matrimony between George Asade and Mofoluwaso Ajetunmobi held at Glory Baptist Church, Ajegunle Area, Ogbomoso in Oyo State.

The Clergyman said marriage is not a contract but convenant and expressed concern over the unGodly attitude of some couples in today’s society which has led to greater percentage of broken homes and untrained children.

While advising the newly wedded couple, Mr & Mrs George Asade to follow biblical principles in their marriage, Rev. Deji Oyelami stressed the need for the husband and wife not to disappoint God and be a role model by building their home on solid rock which Jesus Christ.

The Clergyman who stated that there is no marriage without challenges wished Mr & Mrs George Asade a happy married life and encouraged the couple to be steadfast in faith and prayers to ensure a successful and blessed marriage.

The Parents of the Bridegroom, Deacon & Mrs Victor Asade who are elated for witnessing the marriage ceremony of their son expressed gratitude to God for making the day a reality.

They prayed God to bless the union of the new couple with children and grant them divine wisdom, knowledge and understanding to run the affairs of their family.

In their congratulatory messages to the Couple and the entire family, Mr Gbemileke Moses and Mr Opeyemi Aina of both First Baptist Church, Gwagwalada Abuja also wished the couple a happy married life.

Also in his congratulatory message to the Couple, Engr. Benjamin Ayandele of Gloryland Baptist Church, Lugbe Abuja who described the couple as humble and respectful children of God advised them to continue to love each other and always put their trust in God for a blessed and successful marriage.

In a vote of thanks, the newly wedded couple, Mr & Mrs George Asade expressed gratitude to God for the wedding ceremony.

While also thanking families, friends, associates and all well wishers for gracing their wedding ceremony, Mr & Mrs George Asade wished everyone a safe trip back to their destinations.

Meanwhile, the Traditional Marriage Ceremony for the Couple had earlier took place at the Family House of the Bride in Ajagboju Compound,Ona Igbala Area, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

Families, friends, associates and well wishers from Abeokuta, Abuja, Sokoto and other parts of the country were also in attendance to witness the Traditional Marriage Ceremony.

The Couple and their families later entertained their guests in grand style at a colorful reception after the Church’s programme.

Highpoints of the Wedding Ceremony were thanksgiving, cutting of cake, presentation of gifts and prayers for the couple and the entire family.
