Gov. Alia Appoints 5-Man Interim Management Committee for Lobi Stars FC

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has approved the appointment of a five-man Interim Management Committee to oversee the affairs of Lobi Stars Football Club.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor and made available to newsmen in Makurdi on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the interim management team will manage the club’s operations pending a comprehensive restructuring process.

The appointees include Mr. Terver Ikya as Chairman, Uja Emmanuel as Media Director, Harry Yachi as Technical Director, Terzungwe Chugh as Administrative/Board Secretary (Ministry of Sports), and Barr. Owocho Adejoh Ogiri as Member.

Governor Alia directed the committee to commence immediate registration of the club for the 2025/2026 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

He further cautioned against any form of distraction and urged the committee members to work harmoniously to ensure Lobi Stars’ successful return to top-flight football.
