Governor Okpebholo Flags Off Construction of Second Flyover Bridge in Benin City

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has officially commenced the construction of a second flyover bridge in Benin City, situated in the Edo South Senatorial District of the state.

As part of the project rollout, the Edo State Government has appealed to residents, motorists, and other road users to cooperate with contractors and government officials working at the Adesuwa–Sapele Road intersection.

Road users have been advised to observe all traffic diversion signs and utilize designated alternative routes throughout the construction period.

In a statement, the government announced:
“Construction work has commenced on the second flyover project at Adesuwa Road Junction, along Sapele Road, Benin City. Residents, motorists, and other road users are kindly advised to cooperate with the contractor and government officials on site, adhere to all traffic diversion signs, and make use of alternative routes during the construction period.”

The State Government further reiterated its commitment to sustaining infrastructural development across Edo, emphasizing that such projects are designed to enhance road connectivity, reduce traffic congestion, and stimulate economic growth throughout the state.
