Hope Must Not Die!
Dr jarlath Uche Opara
We live in a world filled with difficulties, challenges and risks. A place that drains and shrinks, giving one the dryness that could be frustrating. We live in an environment that creates swamps, oceans and trenches, each moment, one keeps sliding towards it with the slippery of an okro.
This Hope to survive and stay afloat shouldn’t be lost.Hope is one virtue that keeps one looking forward for the best to come no matter how gray, dimmed and badly bleaked it seems. Hope( Harping on Prayer Earnestly)
Recently, Pope Francis declared next year 2025 as year of Hope. The Hope he declared is one of the theological virtues along side of charity and faith, not my own HOPE ( Harping On Prayers Earnestly)
But the truth is Hope as a theological virtue can be hopeless without this my Hope. It takes Hope ( Harping on Prayers Earnestly) For the theological Hope to be hopefull.
Hope without Prayers is hopelessness. And hopelessness with prayer is hopefulness. 2025 a year of Hope and Hope. A year of Harping on Prayer Earnestly for our hope to be sustained and hopeful.
Let this hope live and thrive for our hope for a better future cannot be hopeless.
Can one say that that 2025 is a year we are called to be Harping on Prayers Earnestly without relenting no matter how critical and challenging situations are? Afterall 2024 was declared by Pope Francis as a year of prayer. You gerrit now?
Keep praying! Keep hoping! Our uhuru is close by! Darkest it is when it is about to get dawn.
