Late Chief Moses Adegbite to Be Buried Friday in Fiditi, Oyo State

Fiditi, Oyo State — January 27, 2026 — The remains of the late Chief Moses Adegbite, father of the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), will be committed to mother earth on Friday, January 30, 2026, in his hometown of Fiditi, Oyo State.

This is contained in a statement by Celestine Toruka, Deputy Director & Head, Media/Public Relations of the commission and made available to journalists in Abuja

Chief Adegbite, aged 86, passed on November 14, 2025, following a brief illness.

Funeral activities will commence on Thursday, January 29, 2026, with a wake-keep at Akio’s Compound, Fiditi. This will be followed by a thanksgiving service on Friday at the Methodist Church Nigeria, Fiditi Circuit.
Fondly known as Imperial, Chief Moses Adegbite (JP) was a devoted Christian and a respected community leader who lived a fulfilled and impactful life.
