Families Are the Bedrock of a Nation and the Key to Lasting Peace — Pastor Komaiya
The Presiding Pastor of The Master’s Place International Church, Pastor Korede Komaiya, has described the family as the foundation of any nation and the cornerstone of a peaceful society.
Pastor Komaiya made this assertion in a recently released video message titled “All-Round Family and Marital Rest.” Addressing members of the congregation, he emphasized that families collectively form a nation and play a more critical role in national stability than even the military.
According to him, every member of the armed forces comes from a family, underscoring the fact that stable homes ultimately produce stable citizens. He noted that a good home reflects “heaven on earth,” while a troubled family or marriage represents “hell on earth.”
The cleric further explained that genuine rest and fulfillment are impossible without peace at home, regardless of personal or professional success. He stressed that when a home lacks peace, true rest becomes unattainable, even if other areas of life appear successful.
Pastor Komaiya added that the home is the place where convictions are formed and attitudes are shaped, noting that families ultimately produce a nation’s leaders, teachers, and government officials. He maintained that societal peace cannot exist without peaceful homes.
He also stated that stronger families lead to a stronger church, as everyone in the church originates from a family background. “The home is everything,” he said, emphasizing that the quality of family life directly influences the well-being of society.
In another recent message that attracted widespread praise, Pastor Komaiya remarked that “nothing attracts people like loving them.” He highlighted the importance of healthy relationships between employers and employees, demonstrating this through his ministry’s welfare practices.
According to him, the church supports its workers with a 13th-month salary, an additional 50 percent salary bonus in December, free accommodation, full scholarships, and comprehensive medical healthcare. He concluded that these gestures reflect the principle that leadership is love expressed through effective administration and genuine concern for people’s future.
