NCPC Announces the Passing of Chief Moses Adediran Adegbite

The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Chief Moses Adediran Adegbite, father of the Commission’s Executive Secretary, Bishop Prof. Stephen Adegbite. Chief Adegbite died on November 14, 2025, at the age of 86, following a brief illness.

A devout Christian and respected community figure from Fiditi in Afijio Local Government Area of Oyo State, Chief Adegbite was known for his commitment to serving God and humanity. His life of dedication and positive impact on his community will be fondly remembered.

Bishop Prof. Stephen Adegbite, the Executive Secretary of NCPC, also serves as the Chaplain of the State House Aso Villa Chapel in Abuja and is the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Lagos State Chapter.

The Commission has extended its sincere condolences to Bishop Adegbite and the entire Adegbite family in their time of grief. It prayed that the Lord grants them the strength to bear the loss and that Chief Adegbite’s soul rests peacefully in the Lord’s bosom.
