NGPIS hits international quality milestone with prestigious ISO certification.

The NNPC Gas & Power Investment Services (NGPIS) has been awarded the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Certification by the British Standards Institution (BSI), in recognition of its commitment to operational excellence, quality service delivery and sustainable business performance.

The ISO certificate was presented to the Executive Vice President, Gas, Power and New Energy, Olalekan Ogunleye, by a delegation from NGPIS led by the company’s Head of Planning and Commercial, Ayuba Rabo, during a ceremony held at the NNPC Towers in Abuja.
The certification followed a rigorous implementation process that began in December 2024 and involved internal and external audits, process standardisation and the development of a robust management system. The QMS team, coordinated by Okeoghene Esugo, was credited for its dedication, coordination and commitment throughout the certification journey.
With the ISO 9001:2015 certification, NGPIS has attained international recognition for operating a quality management system that aligns with global best practices. The achievement is expected to strengthen the company’s competitiveness, enhance service delivery and improve customer satisfaction within the energy industry.
