The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Prof. Stephen Adegbite, has affirmed that Nigeria is making progress and will not regress under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu.

Bishop Adegbite made this known during a thanksgiving service held to mark the successful completion of the 2025 NCPC Main Pilgrimage to Israel and Jordan, as well as to celebrate President Tinubu’s 74th birthday.
The event took place at the Methodist Cathedral of Peace and Excellence, Opebi, Lagos.

He expressed optimism that the nation would experience remarkable progress and abundant blessings under President Tinubu’s administration, while urging Nigerians to continue praying for the President’s good health and longevity.
Bishop Adegbite also recalled President Tinubu’s achievements during his tenure as Governor of Lagos State, particularly the establishment of the Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, and commended his dedication to human capital development.
Dignitaries at the event included top government officials such as the Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Tayo Ayinde; the Special Adviser to the Governor on Christian Religious Matters, Very Rev. Bukola Adeleke; and the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, Lagos State, among others.
A major highlight of the thanksgiving service was the cutting of the cake to commemorate President Tinubu’s 74th birthday anniversary.
