NSHA Speaker Urges Police, Security Personnel to Uphold Professionalism

Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, has called on police officers and other security operatives to uphold professionalism in the discharge of their duties, emphasizing its importance for national peace and development.
Dr. Jatau made the call while decorating his Police Orderly, Mr.
Allu Joseph, and another security detail, Mr. Jiya James, who were recently promoted from the rank of Sergeant to Inspector.Congratulating the officers, the Speaker commended their dedication and commitment to duty, describing their elevation as well-deserved.
“I am pleased with your promotion to the rank of Inspector in the Nigeria Police. It is a reflection of your hard work and commitment,” Jatau said. “I urge you to maintain professionalism in your conduct for the peace and overall development of our society.”
He further advised them to avoid any actions that could tarnish their reputation, affect their families, or undermine the integrity of the security profession.
In their response, Inspectors Allu Joseph and Jiya James expressed gratitude to the Speaker for the honour of decorating them and pledged to remain dedicated and professional in their service.
