The National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA) on Wednesday held a capacity-building workshop aimed at strengthening result-driven performance assessment of the Agency’s deliverables and performance indicators.
The workshop focused on the review and adoption of the Central Results Delivery Coordinating Unit (CRDCU) reporting framework as applicable to the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction and NSIPA, as well as the identification and validation of the Agency’s 2026 high-impact deliverables and performance indicators.
Programme and Departmental Managers, alongside CRDCU focal officers, participated in the session to deliberate on deliverables and indicators that will drive the implementation of Presidential priorities and ministerial mandates under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The engagement also sought to identify operational challenges, promote inter-departmental collaboration and develop actionable solutions to improve the delivery and impact of government programmes.
The workshop was declared open by the National Programme Manager of the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP), Mr. Hamza Baba, who represented the Acting National Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer of the Agency.
In her opening remarks, the Head of Planning, Research and Statistics (PRS), Dr. Binta Ibrahim, described the CRDCU framework as more than a compliance tool, stressing that it provides a clear structure for measuring performance across ministries, agencies and parastatals.
“The CRDCU template provides a clear framework to measure performance across ministries, agencies and parastatals. Targets are not just numbers on paper; they are commitments that must be clear, measurable and achievable and must translate into tangible impact for citizens,” she said.
Dr. Ibrahim urged participants to use the workshop as an opportunity to advance accountability, innovation and excellence across the Agency.
Senior officials and Programme Managers in attendance included the Director of Finance and Accounts, Abdullahi Maikudi; Deputy Director and Head of Planning, Research and Statistics, Dr. Binta Ibrahim; Deputy Director, Finance and Accounts, Akinyemi Olumide; Deputy Director and Head of Information and Public Relations, Mr. Attari M. Hope; Assistant Director, N-Power, Dr. Madu Uba; National Programme Manager, GEEP, Mr. Hamza Baba; National Programme Manager, Renewed Hope National Home-Grown School Feeding Programme, Dr. Princess Aderemi F.
