NUPRC unveils list of pre-qualified applicants for 2025 licensing round

The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has confirmed the successful completion of the pre-qualification stage for the 2025 Licensing Round, stating that all applicants who satisfied the requirements have been duly informed.

In a press statement released by the Commission, the exercise was concluded on March 16, 2026, in full compliance with the stipulated guidelines for the 2025 Licensing Round.
With this phase completed, the Commission disclosed that, from March 17, 2026, all pre-qualified applicants are now permitted to access and lease the relevant data required to prepare their technical and commercial bid submissions.
The Commission also stressed that all qualified applicants must obtain data strictly from the two approved sources, where applicable, and must upload proof of payment as a compulsory requirement before submitting their bids.
