Governor Usman Ododo has donated 10 electric patrol motorcycles to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to strengthen traffic control, enhance enforcement operations, and improve rapid response to emergencies across Kogi State.

Governor Ododo announced the donation during his investiture as the Patron of the FRSC Special Marshals in Kogi State.
He said the gesture would further strengthen the growing partnership between the Kogi State Government and the FRSC in improving road safety and protecting lives along one of Nigeria’s busiest transportation corridors.
The governor also dedicated his investiture to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in recognition of what he described as the President’s visionary leadership, unwavering support for the FRSC, and sustained commitment to strengthening institutions responsible for safeguarding the lives of Nigerians.
Speaking at the event held at the Government House in Lokoja, the Corps Marshal of the FRSC, Mallam Shehu Mohammed, who performed the investiture, commended Governor Ododo for demonstrating exemplary leadership by accepting the responsibility of serving as Patron of the Special Marshals in Kogi State and for boosting the Corps’ operational capacity through the donation of the 10 electric patrol motorcycles.
