Ojulari Hails NNPC Workforce for Team Spirit, Dedication and Resilience in Transformational 2025
The Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Limited, Bashir Bayo Ojulari, has applauded the company’s employees for their dedication, resilience and strong sense of teamwork throughout 2025, describing the year as a pivotal period in NNPC’s transformation journey.
Ojulari, in a message posted on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account, @BBOjulari, revealed that he recently toured the NNPC Towers, visiting various offices and interacting with staff members, particularly junior employees, to personally thank them for their commitment and contributions over the past year.
He noted that while 2025 came with its share of challenges, it was also marked by significant achievements, stressing that the unity and mutual support displayed by staff reflected the true strength of the organisation.
“2025 was a testament to our collective strength,” Ojulari said. “We faced challenges, celebrated meaningful wins, and, most importantly, leaned on and lifted each other up. Day after day, your talent, dedication and resilience continue to inspire me.”
The NNPC boss encouraged employees to recognise the value of their individual efforts, explaining that progress is driven not only by major projects or executive actions, but also by everyday improvements, innovation and professionalism at all levels.
“Whether you led a major project, improved a process, or helped maintain a clean and inspiring workspace—you’ve made a real impact,” he stated, urging staff to take pride in their achievements.
Ojulari also emphasised the importance of rest and personal well-being, advising employees to use the holiday season to disconnect from work, recharge and spend quality time with family and loved ones.
“My warmest wish for you is a restful and joyful holiday,” he said. “Please take this time to truly disconnect, recharge and enjoy moments with loved ones. You have absolutely earned it.”
Reaffirming his confidence in the workforce, Ojulari described NNPC Limited as a unique institution driven by the professionalism and commitment of its people. He added that leading the organisation remains a privilege, especially as it continues reforms aimed at repositioning NNPC as a commercially driven and globally competitive energy company.
He concluded by wishing staff peace, good health and happiness in 2026 and beyond, expressing optimism that the collective momentum built in 2025 would translate into even greater progress in the coming years.
The message has been widely viewed as a morale-boosting gesture, underscoring management’s appreciation of staff efforts amid ongoing reforms and operational challenges in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.
