Pastor Adejola reaffirms earlier declaration, pledges responsive and accountable leadership
Pastor Adejola has reiterated his commitment to people-focused leadership, restating the vision behind the ambition he declared last year and assuring supporters that his resolve remains firm.
Speaking at a recent engagement with members of the GB-Irorun movement, the cleric and community advocate said his aspiration is anchored on sacrifice, service and a deep sense of responsibility to the people.
He emphasised that his entry into the race was not driven by personal interest but by what he described as a compelling need for leadership that listens, plans strategically and delivers measurable results.
“Leadership is not about occupying a position; it is about accepting responsibility. It is about standing in the gap, hearing the concerns of the people and taking deliberate action,” he said.
Agenda centred on relief and development
Pastor Adejola explained that the GB-Irorun agenda is focused on practical solutions aimed at easing socio-economic burdens and restoring public confidence in governance.
According to him, his blueprint prioritises youth empowerment, community-driven development, economic revitalisation and policies that protect the most vulnerable.
He added that inclusive governance and transparency would form the cornerstone of his administration if given the mandate.
Call for sustained support
Supporters described him as a consistent advocate for grassroots development whose leadership style is consultative and accessible.
Reaffirming his position, Pastor Adejola said his ambition remains a call to service rather than a quest for power.
“Our people deserve leadership that listens carefully, plans responsibly and delivers faithfully. That commitment has not changed,” he stated.
