Ramadan: We pray, seek Allah’s intervention to bless Nigeria – Group

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Integrity Movement (ANIM), says its annual Ramadan programme aims to pray and seek Allah’s divine intervention to heal and bless Nigeria.

Mr Mohammed Isa, a National leader representing persons with disabilities in APC National Integrity Movement, said this at the Annual Iftar Dinner, organised by the ANIM in Abuja.

Isa, who is also the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Needs and Equal Opportunities, said the essence of Iftar (Break of fast) was to pray for Nigeria’s growth and development.

“The essence of Iftar is to come together and seek for Allah’s divine intervention and pray for the nation so that Allah will heal and bless our nation.

“Also, we pray that Allah should give our leaders a wisdom so that they can serve us well, that is why we are here,” presidential aide said.

According to him, Ramadan fast is the Holy month, it is also a month of forgiveness, reflection, and month of coming together.

“It is a month of sacrifice and giving, that is what we are doing here as members of APC National Integrity Movement. It is not just a support group, it is a movement. We organise ourselves, you know, like a family.

“We came together as brothers and sisters in order to eat, and thank God for this month in order to reflect our past sins and repent what we have done,” he said.

Also speaking, National Leader of the group, Mr Abubakar Sadiq, urged ANIM members to take advantage of their numbers to add value to the country’s economy.

“We are using this opportunity to appreciate everyone of us for having time to come and join us to celebrate 2025 Ramadan Iftar which is annual event

“Every year, we do find time like this to celebrate with one another to thank God for good life, good health, good opportunity of life and everything that we have to find ourselves in this year.”

According to him, this success cannot be recorded or achieved without the support of every one of us.

“That’s why anytime we are meeting, we are discussing, we are saying this family we find ourselves in is far beyond politics.

“Now we have members across every state of this country and we are building a very solid and formidable network.

“And as you all know, as young people that we are, this country needs us the way we need this country.

“So, basically it is important we take advantage of our numbers, we take advantage of our network to see what we can do to bring value to ourselves, to our family and to our country.”
