A northern patriot and stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Abdulrahaman Abubakar Kwacham, has strongly criticized a so-called “North East Youth Group,” describing it as a fictitious, sponsored outfit created by mischief-makers to tarnish the reputation of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Nigeria’s National Security Adviser (NSA).

Kwacham hailed Ribadu as a man defined by integrity, honesty, and transparency, noting that the respected NSA has spent decades building a legacy of service, diligence, and patriotism in protecting Nigeria’s image and sovereignty.

Speaking in Adamawa, Kwacham — a grassroots politician and loyal APC member — condemned the group’s call for an investigation into the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), calling it “a baseless and ill-motivated attempt to distract a man who has devoted his life to the nation.”

> “Nigerians are not fools. They see, feel, and experience the impact of Ribadu’s intelligent contributions to the country’s security architecture. He has been a bridge-builder, working tirelessly for unity and peace among our diverse people,” Kwacham stated.

He described the attacks as the handiwork of “enemies of progress,” emphasizing that Ribadu’s integrity and track record remain untarnished by any smear campaign.

> “Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has risen above petty blackmail or tribal sentiments. His reputation speaks for itself — a man of proven character whose ovation is loud wherever he goes,” he added.

Kwacham urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to disregard such faceless and attention-seeking groups, stressing that they are tools of distraction aimed at derailing the government’s commitment to unity and progress.

He also commended President Tinubu for his people-centered leadership and bold economic reforms, which, he said, are gradually steering Nigeria out of economic hardship and laying the foundation for a stronger, more prosperous nation.

> “President Tinubu’s policies are restoring confidence and giving Nigerians renewed hope. With Ribadu by his side, Nigeria is firmly on the path to peace, stability, and growth,” Kwacham concluded.
