As Nigeria marks this year’s Children’s Day, Senator Basheer Lado, CON, Special Adviser to the President on Senate Matters, has extended heartfelt greetings to children across the nation, praising their potential and reaffirming the government’s dedication to their welfare and development.

In a message released on Tuesday, Senator Lado described children as the “future leaders” of Nigeria, whose creativity, dreams, and brilliance continue to serve as a source of inspiration. “Your bright minds, creativity, and boundless potential continue to inspire us all, reminding the world that greatness begins with the dreams of a child,” he said.

The senator emphasized the importance of nurturing the nation’s young population, stating that Nigeria’s future rests in the hands of its children who are destined to become “innovators, healers, artists, and visionaries.”

“To every child: never stop dreaming, learning, or believing in your power to make a difference,” he urged.

Senator Lado also reiterated the government’s commitment to safeguarding children’s rights and creating an environment where they can thrive. “We reaffirm our commitment to nurturing your talents, protecting your rights, and building a society where you can grow and thrive with confidence,” he assured.
