Soludo Re-elected as Anambra Governor, Wins in All 21 LGAs

Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has been re-elected as Governor of Anambra State after securing victory in all the 21 Local Government Areas of the state.
The State Returning Officer and Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin, Professor Edoba Omoregie, declared Soludo winner of the 2025 governorship election in Awka.
Governor Soludo, candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), polled a total of 422,664 votes to defeat his closest rival, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who garnered 99,445 votes.
Other results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) include: Accord Party (224 votes), Action Alliance (1,145), African Action Congress (AAC) (292), Allied Peoples Movement (892), Action Peoples Party (73), and Boot Party (126).
The Labour Party polled 10,576 votes, New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) (525), National Rescue Movement (36), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) (1,401), Social Democratic Party (SDP) (241), Young Progressives Party (YPP) (37,753), and Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) (453).
According to INEC, a total of 584,054 votes were valid, while 11,244 were rejected, bringing the total votes cast to 595,298.
Declaring the result, Professor Omoregie stated that Governor Soludo “met all the constitutional requirements” and was duly returned elected as Governor of Anambra State.
