IN LOVING MEMORY OF HIGH CHIEF EZINNE PRISCILLA CHIYERE PC NWOGA: A LEGACY OF SERVICE TO HUMANITY

In a moving tribute to the life and legacy of her late mother, High Chief Ezinne Priscilla Chiyere PC Nwoga, the founder of the When in Need Foundation, Queen Mother, High Chief Princess Chetachi Nwoga Ecton, has launched a medical outreach program for infants and children at the heart of Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The outreach, which catered to thousands of children in an orderly and well-coordinated fashion, served as a celebration of life and time of the beloved matriarch, turning mourning into meaningful service to humanity.
The event was graced by traditional rulers including the Emir of the ancient Garki Emirate, alongside princesses and royals from the Ham Chiefdom, a cradle of the ancient Nok Civilization.
Speaking in an exclusive interview at the event, Princess Chetachi Nwoga Ecton emphasized that selfless service to humanity was the guiding principle of her late mother’s life. She expressed her unwavering commitment to sustaining this legacy through continuous outreach initiatives.
> “My mother was a great woman—selfless, generous, and compassionate. Her heartbeat was service to others, and I will continue this project in her honour for as long as I live,” she said.
She described the outreach not just as a memorial but as a noble mission to immortalize her mother’s values—compassion, charity, and unwavering dedication to the less privileged.
The event featured the distribution of food items, clothing, and essential medical services to underserved children and families within the FCT. It was a clear demonstration that the spirit of High Chief Ezinne Priscilla Chiyere PC Nwoga lives on through acts of kindness and humanitarian service.
Indeed, her legacy is destined to remain indelible in the hearts of Nigerians from all walks of life.
