NCPC Boss Hosts CEO of Simba Tours and Travel, Ethiopia

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, on August 11, 2025, welcomed the Chief Executive Officer of Simba Tours and Travel, Ethiopia, Mr. Woubeshet Alemayehu, during a courtesy visit to the NCPC headquarters.

Bishop Adegbite expressed the Commission’s readiness to collaborate with Christian tour operators interested in partnering to promote the cause of Christian pilgrimage. He commended Ethiopia’s wealth of Christian heritage, noting its many historic holy sites and churches. Having personally visited the country, he affirmed its potential as a valuable pilgrimage destination for Nigerian Christians.

In response, Mr. Alemayehu disclosed that Simba Tours and Travel is prepared to serve as the official ground handler for Nigerian Christian pilgrim groups visiting Ethiopia. He noted that the company works closely with Obamark World Travels, its official partner and representative for pilgrimage tours.

Highlighting past collaborations, the CEO explained that Simba Tours and Travel, together with Obamark World Travels, has hosted several familiarization trips for senior Nigerian Christian leaders and high-level delegations to Ethiopia’s renowned religious and historical sites, including Lalibela, Gondar, and Addis Ababa.

Mr. Alemayehu was accompanied on the visit by Mr. Solomon Nwachukwu, CEO of Obamark World Travels.
