By our Correspondent
The 2025 Annual Camp and Maiden Jamboree of the Royal Ambassadors, FCT Baptist Conference, entered its second day today in Kuje, Abuja, with activities featuring morning devotion and drilling exercises.
Leading the morning devotion from the Daily Encounter With God devotional of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, Counsellor John Adebayo urged the Royal Ambassadors to consistently dwell in God’s presence.
Speaking on the theme “God Will Dwell in Our Midst”, Counsellor Adebayo stressed that serving God faithfully and remaining in His presence are essential to reaching higher ground in life.
Drawing from Zechariah 8:1–12, he encouraged the participants to reflect on God’s promise to return to Jerusalem, cleanse the land of sin, and dwell among His people. He further urged them to emulate these promises by committing themselves to God’s service both within and beyond their local churches.
Following the devotion, the Conference Commandant led the Ambassadors in a morning drilling session, highlighting the significance of physical exercise in advancing the gospel. He advised them to cultivate a passion for regular exercise as a pathway to maintaining good health.
