Akpabio Commissions Additional Projects in Akwa Ibom North-West

Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, on Monday commissioned more constituency projects as he continued his development tour across Akwa Ibom North-West Senatorial District.

Accompanied by his wife, Dr. Unoma Godswill Akpabio, the Senate President inaugurated two blocks of 14 classrooms each in Etim Ekpo Local Government Area.

He also commissioned a fully equipped modern health centre, an ICT centre, and an ultra-modern market to the delight of constituents who turned out in large numbers to receive him.

Addressing the crowd at the various commissioning sites, Akpabio expressed gratitude for their warm reception and reaffirmed his commitment to improving their welfare and quality of life through impactful projects.

“Let me thank you all for coming out to receive me, it shows that you all voted for me. In appreciation of your support for me, President Bola Tinubu and our party, Mr. President has, through me, approved several life-changing projects to be sited in Etim Ekpo. You haven’t seen anything yet. Your votes for APC in 2023 are now speaking for you,” he said.

In recognition of his contributions, the political leader of Etim Ekpo and Pro-Chancellor of the University of Calabar, DIG Udom Ekpoudom (rtd), presented Akpabio with a royal sword on behalf of the council’s elders as a symbol of authority.
