Akpabio Celebrates 2025 TeenEagle Bronze Medalist …Commends Nigerian Youths as Global Achievers
President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has reaffirmed that Nigerian youths possess the talent and capacity to excel globally if given the right support by relevant government agencies.
He made this known while hosting 11-year-old Miss Cara Victor Antai, who clinched the Bronze Medal at the prestigious TeenEagle Global Final 2, held at the University of Surrey, United Kingdom.
The reception took place at Akpabio’s country home in Ukana, Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.“I congratulate you, my daughter, on this remarkable achievement. It proves that Nigerians, when given opportunities and encouragement, can compete and succeed anywhere in the world. This award is also a call for more hard work. I equally commend your parents, Dr. and Mrs. Antai, for supporting you to reach this milestone,” Akpabio said.
The competition, which drew over 20,000 participants from 69 countries, began with online rounds before culminating in the Global Final 2, hosted from July 27 to August 3 at the University of Surrey.
