Dekina/Bassa Lawmaker, Hon. Paul Gowon, Confirms Attendance at Aloko Oganenigu Agricultural Show

The Member representing Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Honourable Paul Gowon (Aka IJN), has confirmed that he will be present at the upcoming Aloko Oganenigu Agricultural Show slated for 26th December 2025 at the Aloko Oganenigu Market Square.

Speaking on the development, Hon. Gowon described agriculture as “a vital pillar for community development, youth empowerment, and economic sustainability.” He stressed the importance of sustained agricultural investment as a pathway to improving living standards and boosting local economic growth.

The confirmation came during a courtesy visit to the lawmaker by Executive Members of the Aloko Oganenigu Township Development Forum. The delegation, led by Hon. Umar Edibo, included the Chief Patron, Mr. Micheal Alfa, and the Forum’s Chairman, Hon. Aminu Faruna.

Hon. Gowon applauded the Forum for its commitment to community development and reaffirmed his willingness to continue supporting agricultural initiatives across the constituency. He added that the forthcoming agricultural show offers a strategic platform for showcasing local produce, promoting innovation, and deepening collaboration among stakeholders.

The Aloko Oganenigu Township Development Forum thanked the lawmaker for his steadfast support and pledged to work diligently toward ensuring the success of the event.
