The Benue Investment and Property Company (BIPC) has successfully carried out the final test run of the revitalised Benfruit Juice Industry in Makurdi ahead of its official commencement of operations.

Speaking with journalists after the exercise at the company’s premises, the Maintenance Manager, Engr.
Henry Boager, said the final testing stage was completed successfully.
Boager explained that the production system was operating concurrently and had already begun crushing operations.
According to him, the plant has the capacity to process four tons per hour, although production initially started at two tons per hour before output was gradually increased.
“We started the final test run today and, so far, everything is progressing smoothly. Our system is running concurrently and we have successfully commenced crushing operations,” he said.
“Ordinarily, the system capacity is four tons per hour, but we began with two tons per hour and gradually increased production.
“The crushing rate has now increased to three tons per hour, and we are working towards achieving the full four tons per hour capacity,” he added.
Boager further stated that the final phase was also aimed at testing the efficiency and operational capacity of the equipment.
He commended the Group Managing Director of BIPC, Raymond Asemakaha, as well as the Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, for giving him the opportunity to contribute to the project and serve the state.
