NISO Pushes Power Sector Reform Agenda at International Civil Service Conference in Abuja
The Nigerian Independent System Operator (NISO) has reaffirmed its commitment to public sector reforms and institutional collaboration as it participated in the ongoing International Civil Service Conference holding at Eagle Square, Abuja.
The conference, themed “Team, Reform, Resilience and Results,” brought together Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), policymakers, and other key stakeholders to deliberate on strategies for improving governance, strengthening public institutions, and enhancing service delivery across Nigeria.
NISO’s presence at the event highlighted its ongoing efforts to support reforms within the nation’s power sector while promoting efficiency, resilience, and innovation in public service operations.
A major highlight of the conference was the visit by the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Power, Alhaji Mamman Mahmuda, to the NISO exhibition stand, where officials showcased the agency’s operational goals and reform-driven initiatives.
The agency said its participation reflects a broader commitment to stakeholder engagement and inter-agency cooperation aimed at building a more responsive and service-oriented public sector.
The conference continues to serve as a platform for public institutions to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and advance policies that support national development and institutional transformation in Nigeria.
