Echocho Backs Tinubu’s Reforms, Promises Massive Support for 2027 Re-Election

The Senator representing the people of Kogi East Senatorial District, Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho, has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the ongoing reforms and key developmental initiatives targeted at improving the welfare, security of lives, and property across the country.


Senator Echocho gave the commendation while speaking with journalists during the APC presidential primary election held at his country home in Odu Ofomu, Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State.

According to him, his experience as a former Chief Executive in the banking sector, coupled with his longstanding contributions to the development of lives across Kogi State, especially in Kogi East Senatorial District, places him in a strong position to mobilise wide support and votes for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.
He further stated that he would work closely with political stakeholders, party loyalists, and prominent personalities, including Murtala Yakubu Ajaka and Kashim Akoh, among others, to ensure a successful grassroots and door-to-door campaign for the re-election of President Tinubu.
Senator Echocho explained that his numerous achievements and constituency projects executed over the years would serve as effective campaign tools in rallying support for the APC and President Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
He also expressed appreciation to party stakeholders and supporters for their continued confidence in President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, assuring the people of Kogi East Senatorial District that the President’s re-election would bring more democratic dividends to the area and the nation at large.
Jibrin Isah Echocho remains one of the leading aspirants in the race for the Kogi East Senatorial District re-election ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Meanwhile, Confluence News gathered that the results of the APC primary elections for Kogi East Senatorial District and other constituencies are yet to be officially released by the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja. Party supporters and residents across the district continue to await the announcement of the party’s flag bearer for the 2027 National Assembly election.
