Tinubu’s Bold Decisions Yielding Results — Akpabio Celebrates President’s Third Year

President of the Senate,Godswill Akpabio, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on the occasion of his third anniversary in office.
In a statement personally signed by him, Senator Akpabio praised President Tinubu for what he described as three years of bold reforms, strategic leadership, and steadfast commitment to Nigeria’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

He stated that the administration’s emphasis on economic diversification, infrastructure development, security, and social welfare has created a strong foundation for sustainable growth and national prosperity.
The Senate President further applauded President Tinubu’s courageous leadership, noting that the Renewed Hope Agenda has, within three years, produced landmark projects and far-reaching reforms aimed at repositioning Nigeria for greater progress and development.
Among the major initiatives highlighted by Senator Akpabio were the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, designed to enhance coastal trade and connectivity; the Nigerian Student Loan Scheme, which is expanding access to tertiary education for young Nigerians; the Renewed Hope Housing Programme, aimed at providing affordable housing nationwide; and the nationwide rollout of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses and conversion centres to reduce transportation costs.
He also referenced ongoing tax reforms intended to widen the tax base while easing the burden on low-income earners, as well as the completion of the OB3 pipeline project, which now delivers two billion standard cubic feet of gas daily into the national transmission network.
According to Senator Akpabio, “The courage to remove fuel subsidy, unify exchange rates, and pursue infrastructure development despite global economic challenges demonstrates a President committed to long-term prosperity rather than short-term comfort.
“The 10th Senate remains committed to supporting the passage of laws that will sustain these achievements and secure the future Nigerians desire.”
He added that President Tinubu’s willingness to make difficult but necessary decisions in the national interest is already producing visible and impactful results across the country.
Senator Akpabio also prayed for continued wisdom, strength, and good health for President Tinubu as he leads Nigeria into another phase of transformation.
“Mr President, on behalf of my family, constituents, the Senate, and the entire 10th National Assembly, I wish you a successful completion of your tenure and victory in the forthcoming elections,” he stated.
