Temi Nkem has emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11, walking away with the highly coveted N160 million grand prize package.

Nkem was officially crowned during the live grand finale broadcast on Sunday, October 4, 2026, bringing the 70-day “Show Ya Sef” edition of Africa’s biggest reality television show to a dramatic close.

She secured her victory with 25.3 per cent of the final public votes, defeating her closest rival, Amyr “Aikou” Yousufzai, who finished as the first runner-up.

The star-studded finale featured energetic performances from Nigerian music stars Teni and Oshamo, celebrating the culmination of a season that began in July with 24 contestants.

The Final Vote and Standings
The official voting breakdown released by the show’s organisers confirmed Nkem’s lead in the final standings.
Aikou, a 25-year-old backend web developer and freelance teacher, secured second place with 23.68 per cent of the overall votes.

Sheba rounded out the top three after surviving a series of intense evictions that reduced the competition to three finalists.

A Night of Rapid Evictions
The grand finale began with nine housemates still in contention: Aikou, Sheba, Temi Nkem, Flora, Ricky, Oyin, Barry, Tram, and Bluethopia.
Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu shook the house early in the evening by announcing a massive wave of evictions.

Barry, Oyin, Ricky, Flora, and Tram were the first to be sent home, ending their journeys just short of the final stretch.

Among the early exits, Barry’s eviction came as a surprise to many viewers, given his strong track record in tasks and house drama throughout the season.
Shortly after, Bluethopia, whose real name is Usaku/Keren Bantai, was also evicted. The 22-year-old photographer and student from Adamawa State’s departure set up the final three-way battle between Temi Nkem, Aikou, and Sheba, paving the way for Nkem’s ultimate coronation.

Aikou’s Gambit and Journey
First runner-up Aikou, who hails from Kogi State and was born in Abuja, had one of the most unusual trajectories of the season.

Early in the show, he and Flora were designated as “Gambits,” a twist that initially made them ineligible to compete for the grand prize.
However, on August 31, Big Brother released both housemates from the role, fully reinstating them as regular competitors.

Throughout his 70 days in the house, Aikou became a fan favourite, known for his openness about his personal life.

He surprised fellow housemates early on by declaring his commitment to his Egyptian girlfriend outside the house, stating that his primary motivation for entering the show was to build a secure financial foundation for their future and to fund his return to university.
